How To Style: The North Face Resolve Jacket!

Friday 7 February 2014

Oh you wear a North Face jacket? You must go on so many adventures! WELL YES. Yes, I do. My dream of owning a North Face jacket has finally been realised in the shape of this ecru masterpiece. If you're like me and a fan of country walks and climbing active volcanoes, chances are you'll already know how awesome this brand is.

The main issue with being a fashion lover who likes to go on adventures, is ensuring my outdoor wardrobe is also hella cute. When we were backpacking around the world my boyfriend thought it was pretty hilarious that I still cared about my clothing at 13,500 ft above sea level... Like, whatever.

I guess when you're in a foreign country it doesn't really matter *as much* but there's no excuse for not making an effort on home soil. This North Face Resolve jacket is warm, waterproof and pretty sweet looking in my opinion. I styled it over a a biker jacket, black cami, some skinny jeans and a pair of Dr. Martens. This outfit is great for a walk on an estate but still wouldn't look out of place at the shops. It would also be perfect for this year's festivals! Glastonbury is freezing at night but I'd be as snug as bug in a rug in this. It's easy to spend £60 on a high street parka which is rubbish quality in comparison. I definitely recommend paying a little bit more and getting something which will last (and work).

This jacket is a size small which is the equivalent of an 8. It's a good fit on me as I still have room for a base layer and a fleece (or a leather jacket). When I Googled 'how to style a North Face jacket' I hardly found any results so I hope this inspires you!

Every time I wear this necklace I want to head to the chippie...NOM. Go forth and shop!

Do you own anything by The North Face? Are you also a fan of British jewellery designers?
