A Total Spoiled Brat!

I'm July's Spoiled Brat Guest Blogger, so I got to pick some goodies from one of my fave online stores everrrrrrr for an outfit post - huzzah! 

 This year is Sindy's 50th birthday, so I decided to pay homage to the doll in the Spoiled Brat Black Satin Skater Skirt and the Helen Rochfort Sindy 50th Anniversary Clutch Purse, for a bit of shiny, pink fashion fun when teamed with my satin AA jacket. Check it out . . .

The skirt is so light and slinky and swishes with every move, plus it has an elasticated waistband so you can wear it high waisted and nipped in like I am today, or on your hips for a longer knee length 50's circle skirt look! I've tried it and it looks awesome with cute heels, but I kept my shoes casual and low for this look, because Sindy was always a tad more demure than that harlot Barbie.

And yes the purse is the cutest thing in the world. The little diamante and silver glitter casing is just so kitsch. Move over Barbs, the other blonde is back in town! Inside it houses card slots but it's certainly big enough to carry as a clutch for a night out, if you can find a doll size lipgloss!

Tara and I have been Spoiled Brat's for years, and we've always said that the store just seems to be in tune with our heads because every time we spy a super covetable brand on the cool US online stores then BOOM - SB sneaks in there and stocks it in a jiffy! If you are yet to be introduced, get yourself over to Spoiled Brat pronto. Your wardrobe demands it.

    You look like a pink lady! This is such a cute look! :) I can't believe Sindy is 50, I had so many Barbies when I was little, but my swimming Sindy was always my favourite - till I lost her in a hotel swimming pool!

      This jacket always makes me feel like a pink lady ha! I had one Sindy in all the Barbie-ness but she had rollerboots so she was way up there in the fave dolls! Love your story, oh the irony! Poor Sindy! xxxx
