Bristol Fashion Week A/W 2012!

Wednesday 3 October 2012

Last Friday I was invited to Bristol Fashion Week at The Mall at Cribbs Causeway. It was such a fun day out, not only did I thoroughly enjoy the show, I got to meet lots of amazing bloggers too!

What I wore: MinkPink poncho - Spoiled Brat, Peplum top - Glamorous, Marcelle leather look jeans - Meltin' Pot, Double Strap Riding Boot - Wallis, Bowler Hat - Marks and Spencer.

The show was hosted by Mark Heyes and Andrew Barton, those guys have such awesome chemistry. It was extremely entertaining (lots of dancing) and really inspiring. My list of 'things to buy for A/W' is now officially a mile long.

I absolutely loved the lingerie by Ann Summers. How hot does this beautiful model look in the Elouise set and Blissfield Spiked Heels by Dune!? Rawr!

Mark Heyes confirmed that the Oriental trend is big for A/W but will also follow through until S/S 2013. The girls here are wearing John Lewis, I can't wait to get my paws on a new floral dress and throw chopsticks in my hair!

I'm sure most of you will agree that this male model is a stone cold fox. He was working the crowd and winking at all the girls on the front row. These casual looks are from Fat Face. I really like the Gemma Gilet the model on the left is wearing, it works really well with the purple skinnies. Speaking of purple, it will be HUGE this A/W 2012 so make sure you nab some, think Cadbury's....Nom!

My favourite trend for A/W is English Heritage. Marks and Spencer stock fantastic knitwear and all the plaid/tartan a girl could need! This Faux Fur Textured Coat looks so snuggly and warm, I love how it's been styled too.

I think riding boots are a necessity to work this trend. I definitely need to invest in a brown pair, the girls look rather spiffing with their leggings/tights tucked into theirs.

There were lots of occasion dresses on display, I really like the glitzy number on the left! It's definitely a showstopper, perhaps a candidate for my New Year's Eve dress!?

I really enjoyed meeting some of my favourite bloggers in person. Here is a quick snap of Lorna & I. Just in case you don't recognise Lorna, her blog is called Raindrops of Sapphire and she always has the most amazing outfit posts! I'm so jealous of her epic denim collection and her beautiful green eyes.

It was also great to meet the gorgeous Amie as well as the lovely Emily & Kim! After the show Milly, Katie, Vicky, Browniekins & I went to T.G.I. Friday's for some food. I think we're becoming a South West bloggers crew, they are so sweet & stylish.

Now I can't wait for the next Bristol Fashion Week! I want to say a huge thank you to Bristol Cribbs for the invite, I had such a wonderful time and I feel so inspired.

T - Brizzle blogger and proud! XoX
