That runway can be cold especially after summers rolled on. . .

This weekend I wore my new Galaxy Print Sleeveless Shirt (£22.99) from Own The Runway for the first time, it's SO gorgeous so I couldn't wait to get some pics of it on here!

From the moment it arrived I was like :O at the print, call me blind, but I totally didn't notice the Pegasus's (Pegasi?!) roaming around the galaxy when I chose it online, though I now see them clearly on the item listing - duh! Isn't he pretty?! It's a lovely light silky fabric, and looks so much more expensive than the price, yey OTR! I got the 14 because I have a big rack and it just fits without gaping if I leave the top 2 buttons open. There's not much room for error but it's too nice to hold that against it!


I teamed it with a grey dip hem skirt from Topshop, my spike Jeffrey Campbell Lita's, studded Topshop bumbag and new The Ragged Priest jacket, though it was too hot to wear that all day shopping. Blimming UK weather. (You can see how dull the day was on the pics - TUT!)


I also worked a cheeky glittery galaxy effect onto my nails using Mavala Flashy Violet and Pure Diamond, speckled with various colours. Kinda cool huh?


I've been messing around with the filter effects on my camera (just a compact Samsung Schneider Kreuznach) and I've realised that my shots look better when I face East as opposed to facing North by my wall. Unfortunately, this means teetering on a wobbly patio edge but hey ho, all in a days posing I guess! The pose on this one came out quite flattering though, and shows off the skirt and bumbag so excuse the fuzziness and concentrate on my behind ;)


I'm thinking this shirt will also look good open over vests too, like a sweet little silky waistcoat, and I'm loving how different this galaxy print is to some of the others that are around this season. I'm sure it will make another appearance here faster than a flying horsey :)
