It was perfect timing. I'd been using GHD's for 5/6 years & my latest pair were close to exploding. GHD's have dominated the hair straightener market for far too long & after one use of my new C9's, I was SO over them.

I think I should break down just WHY I love them so much...
The Swivel Cord- They come with an awesome swivel cord which is unique to Cloud Nine! It gives incredible freedom of movement when styling. Result.
The Temperature Control Panel- With low, medium and high heat options, you can learn to create styles with your irons at lower temperatures. The LED panel gives a clear indication of temperature, and with a simple tap of the button you can raise or lower heat.
It has a Dual Adaptor- It's supplied with a standard two-pin Euro plug, but is also fitted with a UK three-pin adapter. So if your holiday'n in Europe (I for one like my weekend breaks) and want to use the two-pin euro plug, just remove the screw between the 3 pins.
The Micro Iron- I was so surprised that the Micro Iron was included! It's absolutely PERFECT for travelling (& fringes!). It's tiny but powerful.
The Black Ceramic Plates- They claim to have a special and mysterious ingredient incorporated into them, which gives your hair added shine and sparkle, each and every time you use your irons...Well boy do they slide over my hair beautifully. Tons easier than my old GHD's. Shiny shiny!
The Hibernation mode- After 30 minutes of being switched on (& not used) they (rather cleverly) switch off. Long gone are the days of me panicking about whether or not I switched my GHD's off & imagining a burnt down house...
They are the shizz.
When using my GHD's I'd feel like I was slowly burning my hair. With my C9's it's not like that in the SLIGHTEST. They just feel super hair friendly. My locks look noticeably sleeker and I don't feel guilty for straightening anymore. Also the tips of the iron don't get as hot, so I'm no longer burning my fingers/ears etc- HURRAH!
