The Clothing At Tesco £30 Styling Challenge GIVEAWAY!

Sunday 7 November 2010

We LOVE Clothing At Tesco, there's so many affordable gems on their webby and in store, it's hard not to just fill your basket with hawt stuff instead of groceries!

The lovely peeps at Tesco challenged us to each create an outfit with just £30, and how could we refuse?! T went for an evening party look, whilst I went for a winter daytime look and believe it or not we both had change to spare (which means if you were in store you could pick up a magazine or some chocolate!). Here are the results! Please note, the shoes are our own - neither us, or Tesco's are THAT good!

Tara's hot black dress was £22 and the amazing studded bag was just £5!
My grey sweater was a ridiculous £12 (!), camo combat leggings came in at £9, the white top under the sweater was a fiver, then a wintery touch was added with £3.20 armwarmers!

Anyway, now it's YOUR turn!

We have a £30 Clothing At Tesco gift voucher for one lucky winner courtesy of Tesco!

To be in with a chance of winning, what we want you to do is make sure you are following the blog here, then hop on over to the Clothing At Tesco webby and put together your own £30 outfit. It can be anything you like as long as it's from the Women's or Men's departments. No children's outfits please.

Then post the links to your outfit components as a comment on this post with a quick note as to why you have put those pieces together! As the website has a very fast turnover of stock we will be keeping notes on the entries as they come in, so don't worry if any of your items go out of stock before the end date, we've got your back!

While you wait to hear if you won, why not follow Clothing at Tesco on Twitter and Facebook, and us too using the links to the right of the page to keep up to date with everything Tesco and RAWR!

The contest ends on 26th November at 6pm with the winner being announced no later than 29th November. This competition is only open to UK residents.

Remember Every Little Helps so don't be afraid to use every last penny of that £30! GO!

J & T - Challenge Rawr.

  3. So fun!
I will start off with a faux fur snood so I do not freeze!

    http://www.clothingattesco.com/womenswear/f+f-faux-fur-snood/invt/bf022279/&bklist=icat,4,buylists,featuredproducts,fur

Next up is this RAWRLY leopard pencil type skirt because it is HOT!

    http://www.clothingattesco.com/womenswear/f+f-animal-print-skirt/invt/bc021127/&bklist=icat,4,shop,catgwomens,womens-skirts

Then this sweater (or jumper if you must) because it is my favorite color (black) AND it is called CASHMILLON which is close to CASH MILLION which would be a great rapper name.

    http://www.clothingattesco.com/womenswear/f+f-cashmillon-jumper/invt/bm021942/&bklist=icat,4,shop,catgwomens,womens-knitwear

Finally I will end with a pair of lace tights because outfits don't make much since without tights!

    http://www.clothingattesco.com/womenswear/f+f-lace-tights/invt/ch021012/&bklist=icat,4,shop,catgwomens,womens-socks-and-hosiery

Alas, as always I do not think I saved enough money for any chocolate treats or anything else! How do you shop at this store! I would never make it to the groceries. The faux fur coats would be calling my name.

  8. Well, I am going to use my imaginary money to dress my hubby. With the cost of high street mens clothes spiralling out of control (£50 for jeans in River Island???) It is so refreshing to find great style at a great price.

This shirt is amazing value for money at £16 and looks like it would be lovely to snuggle in to. Team it with these jeans at £10 http://www.clothingattesco.com/menswear/cherokee-belted-jeans/invt/eg021004/&bklist=icat,4,shop,catgmens,mens-jeans they are so lovely, I cannot believe the price. There is even enough left over for a new scarf at £2.40 http://www.clothingattesco.com/menswear/f+f-scarf/invt/ej021048/&bklist=icat,4,shop,catgmens,mens-accessories and a nice bar of chocolate to share!!

  9. WOW.

Everyone's outfit ideas are so amazing, and all totally unique to each other! It really goes to show what you can achieve with £30 and Tescos right?!

So, just checking in anyway to say everyone's outfits have been logged as actual pictures here at RAWR Towers as promised because let's face it, by the time this comp ends a lot of this stuff will have sold out at these prices!

Thanks to everyone so far! MWAH!

I love layering so have gone for the holey jumper option over a black body con dress that was awesome bright blue details to liven it all up! I follow both you guys and Clothing at Tesco on twitter.

I'm going for a casual look so to start with, and for cheapness, i love the F & F Panel Trouser, yep I own a pair. http://www.clothingattesco.com/womenswear/f+f-panel-trousers/invt/jg022498/&bklist=icat,4,shop,catgsale,w-tailoring-cl

    http://www.clothingattesco.com/womenswear/f+f-sunglasses-vest-top/invt/jf020155/

To jazz it up a bit more, I'd pick these, these are gorg!!! F & F Fringe sandals, nop don't have a pair of these I'm afraid.

    http://www.clothingattesco.com/womenswear/f+f-fringe-sandals/invt/bk013498/&bklist=icat,4,shop,catgsale,w-footwear-cl

  14. So after much deliberating on my choices...whomp here it is!...
    This is what I'd get with 30 buckaroo's;

This maxi as I keep spotting girls wearing maxi's on nights out and I always think ''HOT but UNDERSTATEDLY SO'' (me like subtle hotness!)...

    http://www.clothingattesco.com/womenswear/f+f-animal-maxi-dress/invt/bg021024/&bklist=icat,4,shop,catgwomens,womens-dresses

And this BAG as it's big enough to stash my coat in as gawd knows I would need it to cover up on these snowesque winter nights.

2 bucks left to spare for my fave mag too ;-)
