Kandee Goes BAD for AW10, and it's SWEEEEEEEEET!!

Sunday 3 October 2010

Kandee Shoes is THE hot new go-to label for the most desirable footwear we've seen in a LONG time. The man behind the shoes coveted by every woman is Josh Wayman, a 21 year old fashion brain behind the Kandee name. Josh left school at 15 wanting to make his mark and use his creativity, and boy are we glad he made that decision (and yet so jealz that he had to minerals to do it at that age, go Josh!).

Kandee's exciting new AW10 collection, 'Kandee Gone Bad' takes the cool 'liquorice allsort' brights on black colour schemes seen on the AW10 runway shows of Giorgio Armani, Miu Miu and House of Holland, along with the super hot studding seen at the AW10 Alexander Wang and Christopher Kane shows and our FAVE SS11 LFW show, Burberry Prorsum, and combined it all into shoe perfection. And affordable shoe perfection at that, which is SO rare!

The gorgeous Liquorice Allsoles ballet pumps are available in fuschia, blue and yellow at just £69 a pair!

Yes, I said £69 a pair - a small price to pay to get the runway look featured by Vogue!

These flats will instantly update any black based outfit for AW10 with their flash of bright colour!

We are LOVING these fuschia flats here at the RAWR, yum! :)

'Kandee Gone Bad' is also taking the stud and spike trend seen on both AW10 AND SS11 runways, and recently in the current Loubie collection, but making it that little bit different by pairing the tough embellishments with candy coloured, caramel and aniseed shades which are good enough to eat!

The Christian Louboutin's (shown below), whilst obvi secsi and sophisticated, are around £625 for the flats, and £755 for the heels!

The Kandee Shoes studded styles are WAAAAAAAAAYYYYYY more fun than the Loubies and with prices like £99 for the flats, and £150 for the AMAZING heels, you can afford to treat yourself to a few pairs! Check these bad boys out!

The FABULOUS £99 flats come in a smooooooth yummy Caramel Crunch and a spicy, darker Aniseed, both have luxe gold studding and we need IMMEEDZ.

The Blue Raspberry Studded Dragee Sandals, at £150, are quite possibly the prettiest shoes we have ever seen. The sweetest minty blue sandal with to die for silver studding all over. Don't act like you're not impressed!

The warm leathers, fresh colours and hot studs of Kandee's embellished styles instantly reminded us of the SS11 Burberry Prorsum show at London Fashion Week. It blew our fashionista minds, and we (quite dramatically) died.

And now we see Kandee's studded dreams, well we feel like we've gone to heaven. Shoe heaven! They have quite literally everything we need in a shoe for AW10!

In my mind I'm already buying the Raspberry Dragees and a beige trench, pulling it in with a pastel skinny belt a la Burberry and strutting down the high street, because when you're wearing Kandee Shoes, life is a runway baby and you - better - work!

J & T - We want Kandee ;)

  1. Sorry to ask, but were you paid for this? Although I like the Kandee shoes and am a huge fan of the peanut crunch, I think this post is a little over the top! Yess, the studded falts are definitely more afordable than the CLs, but then again, the idea isn't very original! So to call them "WAAAAYYYYY" better than the loubis is too much in my opinion! Give the designer who came up with the idea in the first place some credit!

Then again, props to a 21-year old for having established a brand like Kandee!!

  2. Hi there, no we weren't paid for this!
And to be honest I do think these particular styles are more fun than the Loubies, in terms of colour and affordability. I didn't say they were 'better' at all and I did actually refer to the Loubies as being obviously sexy and sophisticated. I said the Kandee's were more fun, which is an entirely different thing. The whole point of this post is to show girls who can't afford the Louboutin's etc that there is something very similar out there, but yet still isn't on the high street and is limited edition so they are effectively still getting a really individual look, just without spending the cash! :)

    Cheers! J x x
