Sooooo, I'm SUPER excited because for the first time ever, my workplace is participating in Jeans For Genes Day on 1st October! This means I get to lose the boring officewear and step into my fave denims for the day, and all for charidee!
Jeans For Genes are the UK children's charity that aims to change the world for children with genetic disorders. Individually, genetic disorders are rare but together they affect 1 in 25 children born in the UK - that's more than 30,000 babies each year. Their associated health problems mean that genetic disorders are the biggest killer of children aged 14 years and under.
Jeans for Genes provides funding for the care and support of children with genetic disorders. They also help to fund research into genetics and the development of effective treatments and cures. Each year they offer funding to a range of charities, read all about it here!
So, there's NO DOUBT that both me & T will be rocking the Charley 5.0 on 1st October! Charley 5.0 is our fave denim brand and thanks to the Angels, we have a lot to choose from! I think I'll be going for the Charley 5.0 3 Way Zip Denim Leggings, $156 from Shopbop, and I have a feeling T might head the same way!
OR, I might get the AMAZING Charley 5.0 Baby Snap Denim Leggings, £138 from Shopbop, out to play. Either way, I'll be making colleagues JEALZ!!
It would also be the shizz if the Charley 5.0 The Shirt, $88 from Revolve, that I am waiting for in the mail comes before Jeans For Genes Day, then I could double up on the Charley denim!
