What's hawt? Aussie Brand, Shakuhachi!

Sunday 8 August 2010

In Japanese, Shakuhachi means 'bamboo flute'. I'd like to surmise that in English, Shakuhachi means damn HAWT designs. Aussie designer Jesse White has created a brand that is simply unique, feminine and ultra cool.

I literally had to pick my jaw up off the floor, after eyeing up the new S/S 2011 Collection...Oh my.

Twisted Shoulder T Dress, AUD $160- Shakuhachi.

Bandage Off Shoulder Dress, £188- My Catwalk.

Bandage Lace Back Dress, £177- My Catwalk.
My favourite of the entire collection ^. I just ADORE this dress. It's so pretty and elegant.

Day Tripper Crop Bustier, AUD $140- Shakuhachi.

I honestly could share the entire collection with you...I was so excited when I stumbled across this new season of Shakuhachi. It's currently on pre-order but is definitely worth the wait.

Day Tripper Lace Shoulder Dress, £141- My Catwalk.

Jesse created Shakuhachi after gaining inspiration while spending years travelling the globe (a total travel bug like me ;).

Drape In & Out Dress, £188- My Catwalk.

This LBD is so HAWT, that it should win its own award.

Lingerie Mesh Paneled Tank Dress, AUD $280- Shakuhachi.

Lace Panelled Tier Maxi Dress in Blush, £165- My Catwalk.
Gypsy heaven. I can imagine myself running through a field in this. Gorgeous.

I hope you've now fallen in love with Shakuhachi too. Worn by celebrities such as Whitney Port & style vixens across the globe, this is one brand that just keeps getting better and better.

I don't know what they put in the water in Oz, but for me Australian designers like Jesse White are leading the way for the others around the world. SUPER HAWT.

Shakuhachi can be purchased from its official website & all of the coolest online retailers, including ASOS, My Catwalk, Urban Outfitters, My Wardrobe & Revolve Clothing.

Be sure to follow them on Twitter & on Facebook, to be the first to hear the HAWTEST Shakuhachi news!
