Because this season, we're thinking of being your one and only pleasure, all decked in lace and leather! Well, leather anyway. And not always real leather at that! Yes that's right, leather and leather look/pvc trousers are IN for AW10 ladies (and gents, we know Russell Brand loves his S&B Rats!), so here's a rundown of my fave styles right now!
First off, the basic style. Plush do a straight up faux leather legging complete with topstitched seams to make them look authentic, for a fabulous $70 from Shopbop.
Similar to these but with hot zipper ankles, is an unexpected, but gorgeous pair from Quiksilver! The Sheath Leggings in Oiled Black are pretty yummy at £60!
It's no secret that we ADORE Sass & Bide (Tara has the original Black Rats) so they HAVE to feature here, their PVC Black Rats, £130 at My Wardrobe, are super secsi and very flattering - I want!
Next up is the super stylish brand Alice & Olivia , with a really cute pair of faux leather front zipper leggings, $198 from Shopbop! A&O also do real leather leggings in various styles but these are just as cool at a great price, and no cows were harmed in the making of this garment.
Next on my list are my ABSOLUTE FAVES, the Work Custom Jeans Mamba Leggera pvc zipper style for the FW10 collection. I can't find anywhere that sells them yet but WCJ stockists include Black Label Boutique, Revolve and Singer 22 so EYES OPEN! WCJ is you are reading this, I'm always happy to, ya know, make sure everythings legit and working a-okay on a pair if you need a tester ;)
And finally, if you feel like a splurge, you can't go wrong with this pair of Current/Elliott The Legging Leather Pants, a whopping £745 from Net-A-Porter! Classic cool, these will NEVER go out of fashion, and thank god at that price!

I know I will, and I don't want to sound smug (even though I clearly do) but I still have my pair of faux leather leggings from last year that I've started working again even now before the sun has even waved us goodbye!
