The NEXT 50% off (ATLEAST) Sale- Summer 2010!

At 4am this morning, I woke up to the sound of a thunderstorm outside...EEEK! In the darkness I somehow managed to dress myself and headed off to the Next sale!


Unlike J (who had an online VIP slot earlier this week), I was shopping this sale the oldskool way! The early morning trip is a twice yearly tradition for my mother & I. She is absolutely OBSESSED with Next & takes me with her because I am AWESOME at sale shopping. There's no need for me to be modest, I am a HARDCORE shopper.

My mum gives me a list and lets me loose when the doors open at 5am! The others don't stand a chance ;) I'm focused. USUALLY I only end up with a pair of socks or something, because its ALL about my mum! However this summer, after getting my mum what she wanted, I went shopping for ME!

I ended up with the following bargains:


Studded Wellingtons, Reduced from £24.99 to £10!

As the weather is getting wetter (someone tell the man upstairs that it's only July!) this was a much needed purchase. I LOVE studded wellies so I did *squeak* a little when I spotted them. These prove you don't have to sacrifice style for practicality ;)

The next thing I spotted was this awesome little vest:


Reduced from £16 to £8, this just had to be mine!

I love that it isn't just a plain tank, it has a cute pocket detail at the front, then its slightly longer at the back with a slight fish tail to it. The marl grey is a fab colour.

I also nabbed one of these:



Silver Studded Bangle, Reduced from £7.50 to £3!

I was pretty lucky that for some reason, this bangle was considerably smaller than all the others of the same size! Usually I find it difficult to get bangles that wont slip off my small wrists...This was meant to be! I do love all things studded. Bargain!

My final purchase (asides from a boring black brolly!) was these AMAZING cargo skinnies:

Khaki Military Cargos, Reduced from £35 to £15!

I figured at £15 I would just buy them & hope for the best. If they didn't look so good, I could always return them after all! WELL I'm extremely impressed. As far as budget cargos go, these must win hands down! Although not quite as skinny as I'd ideally like (there's a bit of room for thigh I don't have) these are VERY cool. They don't have the price tag of Houlihan's & will definitely do until I'm blessed with a designer alternative! ;)

So all in all, a very successful trip! If you haven't already, I suggest you check it out online or in store! There are MANY bargains to be had. I'm done for this sale now...The next one? Winter! Bring it on! ;)
