Review - Eylure Sex and The City False Lashes - Miranda!

Sex & The City oozes glamour in every syllable uttered from the gorgeous foursome's perfectly glossed lips, so Eylure thought yeah, why the hell not, let's create a line of SATC false eyelashes to coincide with the release of the eagerly awaited second movie! Inspired. There are 4 sets (obviously) and each set is based on either Carrie, Samantha, Miranda or Charlotte. Now I love a good pair of falsies, and Eylure do my faves (though not my fave glue but that's another story) so of course I wanted to try these.

Choosing a pair wasn't difficult, at £6.45 a pop from Boots, they're not exactly throwaway so I inspected each set for pros and cons.

Carrie's are full and thick but they have a silver star on the outer lashes, hmm, not really my bag. Samantha's are as bold and fabulous as you would expect, but I have a similar pair in my kit already. Charlotte's are feminine, long and feathery, but again I have a similar pair and they aren't particularly special. So last but certainly not least, I found that Miranda's are surprisingly cool (bless her)! They are more modern than the others, natural in the inner corners leading to a fuller outer, and with a criss cross lash pattern that gives a polished look.

I managed to take a fairly close up pic, sorry for the quality but it is surprisingly difficult to take a good pic of one's own eye lol!

These are easy to apply as are all Eylure lashes, and long lasting, IF you use the right glue. Personally, I don't rate the Eylure glue (I prefer the stuff you get with Mister Mascara lashes) but each to their own I guess.
